I just allocated more memory to pictures from 2MB to 32MB. Feel free anyone to correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like when you send someone a picture with the new bbm, the temp file is stored on the device even if you do not decide to ultimately save the picture. When you fill that picture allocation memory you can no longer receive pictures.

I also noticed that when I tried to send a picture to someone when my picture memory was full, the thumbnail wouldn't even show up.

I'm new to blackberry, and even newer to the forum, please don't hold it against me too much.

Where did you change the setting for max pic size?

edit- Think i got it in media/pictures/options.

If anyone can figure out a way to change the default store location for bbm that would be great!

Downgrading to 5.0.0.57 worked for me.

RIM should have provided an official link and admitted to the problem... *** holes.
