Sent my Location

I downloaded the new BBM 5.0. I like the new feature of 'Sent my Location' I have GPS turn on. But when I try to send it to my friends, it gives me an error. "Unable to retrieve Current location".

Also is there a way to track my friends. They also have BBM 5.0

What OS are you running? And what carrier? Cuz I had the same issue until I downloaded sprint's .57 and then it started working although I know it didnt work for everyone.
As for tracking friends, this version of BBM does not have it.

I have OS 4.7.1.40 with Verizon.. When I do try it. I see it is trying to get a signal then gives me an error.

Not happy about it either. I'm using 4.7.0.148 on a Verizon Storm and it doesn't work. I can't believe with all this praise no one has mentioned the fact that the coolest feature doesn't work!! real nice!

Fwiw, I'm using 4.7.1.40 on Telus Tour with BBM 5.0 and the "send location" feature is working great - it retrieves my location very quickly.

mine didn't work after the first day or so with bbm5.0 then I installed the sprint os update and it has worked perfectly every since
