Is it possible to make starting a chat admin only?

Hi,

Is it possible to make starting a new chat an admin only ability in bbm groups? Also, is it possible to block a pin from joining a bbm group even if they scan the barcode?

You can't stop a member from making a new chat, but you can delete it. In updates you should also be able to see who created it.

You can set group details so only an admin can invite members. I would strongly recommend at least 2 admins in any group.

Is there a way to make it where an admin needs to authorize a barcode scan?

The other members shouldn't be able to offer a barcode, so long as the group is set that only admins can invite. Now, if you posted the barcode yourself, anyone can use it to join.
