How to broadcast on BBM on a BlackBerry Curve 9360

I've had my BlackBerry for a couple of weeks and lots of my contacts on BBM broadcast information.
I would like to be able to do this but do not know how to.
Many of my friends have different types of Curves, and the setup is different, therefore they cannot tell me how to do it.
It would be really nice to know how!

Go to blackberry messenger > menu > new broadcast message...

type what u want > select contact > send..
