Email Issue

I just got a Blackberry Bold 9900 today and it seems that when i get an email, it vibrates but there is no notification (envelope with red circle or whatever it is) at the top of the screen. So if i miss the notification, there is no way to see if i have emails other than to go to my email app, any suggestions?

Go to profiles, change soundand alerts, sounds for selected profile, messages. tap the email you want to change and from there you can change sound. make sure volume is turned on.

i did that. but what im having trouble with is the actual notification on the phone. pretty much the envelope isnt coming up when i get an email. but its working fine with sms, bbm. facebook etc

I would do a battery pull and leave it out for a minute. Than let it reboot and see if that fixes it. Let us know if you need further help.
