Default Changed Carriers Now BBM and Internet don't work

Hi i recently received an 8820 from America that was on a Sprint Carrier. I use Vodafone South Africa and they can't seem to pick up the devices PIN or IMEI number on their platform, hence i cant access BBM or internet services. Does any one know what i can do to resolve this issue?

I believe the your carrier will need to delete the BIS account associated with the old SIM before you can activate the new SIM to use the BIS service.

I have a similar problem. I live in South Africa and I bought an unlocked 8820 from America (Original carrier:AT&T), It worked fine on my local carrier (Cell-C) until I upgraded it to BB OS v4.5 - It now does not pick-up any of the South African Mobile Networks including Cell-C. When I downgraded the OS back to BB OS v4.2 it worked fine again... Please help.
