BBM - Unable to Link to address book

Hoping someone can help me with this.

Blackberry Torch 9860 - OS7 - BBM 6.1.0.49

In BlackBerry Messenger, the option to link a contact to the address book is not shown.

When you look at the details for a contact in BBM, then hit the connect button (bottom right) is states that the contact is not connected to an address book entry. You then click 'OK' and it goes to the address book. Then selecting the contact, all seems OK until you go back to the contact in BBM there is still no display picture. You select the contacts information again and it states that the contact is not connected to an address book entry!

This must be linked to why the option is not available in the menu.

Any idea?

It is connected to a BES server, but we have other phones on the same server that work OK.

It is connected to a BES server, but we have other phones on the same server that work OK.

No idea but I have the same issue with my 9780 on BES and BBM version 6.1.0.71. Not sure if this is BES related or not.
