Default bbm/text delays

hey guys,

i looked at the past related threads but none address my issue. at times, usually at night, i have some serious delays when it comes to sending texts/bbm to people. the delays can range anywhere from ten to sixty minutes. it's caused some headaches for me. any ideas as to what the cause(s) may be and if so, any particular remedies that you may suggest?

thanks in advance!

Are your friends in NYC on AT&T? AT&T's network might be congested. They are bad in NYC.
