BBM Settings Help

Is there a way to prevent the BBM settings from being changed? I know there are aps to password protect BBM but don't want to type a password each time I use BBM. I guess I am looking for something like like a IT policy where the BBM settings are grayed out. Any input will be appreciated.

On the device? By someone else?

Sorry I was not clear.. my teenager has a BB and I'd like to enable logging let's say on the SD however he's able to change the logging back to none so how do I prevent that?

No. There are no parental controls on BlackBerry. There's no way to control someone's BlackBerry.

If you are concerned, the best control is to remove the device from the teenager's possession and put it your possession.
