BBM not installing/appearing | Wiped my BB, still doesn't work!!

So,
I tried updating BBM from the last 5.0 version to the latest 6.0 today. SINCE I don't have wireless (stupidly enough) on my BlackBerry, I used AppLoader to install 6.0.
Installed, rebooted my BlackBerry but didn't appear when it finished booting. I searched everywhere, checked if it was hidden and found nothing. I checked and it was installed on my BB, but didn't show up.

I delete/reinstalled, didn't work, THEN, I wiped my BB and tried again but it still didn't work.
Any pointers? I'm only on a social plan from my carrier, so I don't have access to internet to dload it off App World.

Pointers anybody? I really need it to get fixed ASAP :/

I had the same problem. Apparently, according to RIM, the icon might disappear if the version of BBM is not compatible with your OS. There is a Knowledge Base article on it here:

Just make sure the versions are compatible and you should be ok.
