Besides the obvious BBM getting a face lift.
Messages sending pics can be resized.
calendar entries will can be forwarded to contacts.

Have you seen what texting looks like on an iPhone? It's basically just that. Instead of all the texts showing up in one place, they're separated and are organized by the name/number of the person you're texting. Say you and Bob are texting each other. To see all the texts from him, you'd select his name and all of your messages are "there" like they would be in an IM conversation. Hope my confusing description helps.
