8310 - Update BBM w/o full data plan?

Hey fellow crackers,

Quick question; got downgraded to 8310 from 9900 and was wondering how to update the BBM version without a full data plan. I have an email/social plan that allows me use of BBM and Twitter, etc. but doesn't give me the ability to download any apps via on-board browser.

Any idea if this can be done via desktop software? I can't seem to get it to work?

you can load apps using a PC and internet explorer and AppWorld online.

Actually it can be done ota. Just "goto" mobile.blackberry.com in your browser. If not and your 8310 has wifi u can do it over wifi. Also using your internet browser, install the appworld add-on *works best it firefox or internet explorer* and using your bbid log in and download straight to your BB, once it connected via cable
