Default Warning: blackberryreadyvids.com

I got this warning from my norton toolbard about blackberryreadyvids, Norton Safe Web, from Symantec - report for blackberryreadyvids.com

When I clicked on a link to DL a movie, my anti-virus showed me a pop up warning me of a potential attack. Here's the info here, Norton Safe Web, from Symantec - report for 94.102.52.197

Quote:
Reported Attack Page!
This web page at 94.102.52.197 has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

ttack pages try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack pages intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

I keep seeing this website posted around here, and I've also read that the owner of that site is a mod here? (Can someone clear this up?)

Just be cautious when using this website.

It's not due to the site itself, but one of the advertising programs that's being run.

That site is definitely not affiliated with any of our mods nor is it affiliated with CrackBerry.com

Thanks for clearing that up Adam. Maybe when I get out of class I'll post the source on where I read that. Just gotta do a quick search.

To the posters above, you may possiblt not encountered any problems because you don't have a browser or toolbar which scans the sites and matches it to a database of websites which may contain viruses, spyware/malware, etc.

Not only did blackberryreadyvids come up as an alert, so did some links to videos, which alerted me that is was worse than blackberryvids.

All I'm saying is be cautious. Do some scans on it, or some research. I could care less if you don't care. But when your system gets hijacked or personal information is stolen, or at the least you have a virus. Just remember, I told you so!

I actually got a virus from that site and had to do a recovery on my computer last night.. Never had any issues up until last night. I also kept getting the flashing of the web pages and then finally my computer just gave up... Hope there is another site as good as that one. I got some good movies from there

That's a choice you make. Don't require others to participate and or help you pay for illegal activity. Perhaps you should have thought that through before wasting money. Besides, there are a number of site owners that have been forcefully shut down, fined and or arrested-just so you know. The Empire Mobile movie site, a few years ago. They made a example out of the owner. He got like a 10 year sentance for piracy.
