Zml.com is a great site. It takes about fifteen minutes start to finish and the quality is great.

I tried handbrake and a couple of other pay programs like tunebite and had little to no success and they took FOREVER to download and I always had sketchy results.

Yes Zml is a pay site. Worth every penny. I was watching "Taken" earlier and its not even out yet.

ThePirateBay is one of the best, it often has reviews as to quality and no membership is required. Demonoid is another, I got in before they clamped down and restricted memberships. If you are in desperate need of an invite pm me.
Usenet groups is another option. There's a learning curve on how to use these and it is also dependent on whether your service provider carries a news server. There are monthly paid news servers you can use which cost very little. My server had something like 60,000 plus groups on it, it's quite often faster than torrents and been around a lot longer. It was actually an interesting place to be in 90's, unfortunately it became deluged with porn spam among other types.
