Movies copied to Bold

To the OP, yeah there are many ways to convert a movie, and there are lots of movies on the site.

There are a few different ways you can do this. One is the desktop manager has a built in converter. You just point it to the moves and tell it to load themon the BB. I don't like it very much. I have always felt it didn't work very well and taks a long time. It is pretty much point and click.

If you want to control the quality more you can use Handbrake to convert video in a better quality manor.

I also recently purchased an app call Cyberlink MediaShow Expresso. With it you can batch several files to run together. It is GPU accelerated for both Nvidia and ATI and it has a built in profile for the Bold 9000 and 8900. Once the videos are converted just move them to the phone.

Something to be aware of is allot of converters convert to 320x240. The BB kinda gets jipped because it is 480x360. Just try to make sure that what ever encoder you are using uses 480 for the width.

Look in the movies/videos forum. There is a great post in there called "my first movie thread" that has a lot of movies ready to be dl'd and copied to your BB.
