In the UK:

TVCatchup Mobile has a mobile version that works on BlackBerry - they stream live the most popular 28 UK free to air TV channels.

There's iplayer downloader that allows you to download BBC iPlayer content to your PC in MP4 format that you then simply copy to your memory card and play when you like.

Is a memory card a must for movies? Or can I just load them into my BB without one?

Of course you can, but you need a third software to convert the files to the format thay your blackbarry is compatible.

Visit movietogo.tv/blog from your phone's browser. It's an iphone site but it works for other smartphones. I use it on my 9100 all the times. You can either watch or download the movies. They also have tv shows and anime links.

It helps to have a decent sized memory card, perhaps 16 gigs. It is not a must, the size might have your device running kind of slow.
