Avatar from Samsung Galaxy

I pulled Avatar and Avatar trailer (.dcf adn .3gp respectively) from my Samsung phone but they won't play on my Torch. Same thing for Transformers (MP4) from my HTC HD2. Any ideas how to get these movie files to play on my Torch? Thanks.

I don't know why Transformers doesn't work, it supports that file format, but try this to transfer the others into file formats it will accept: Next Video Converter Free - Free Video Converter software, convert video to iPod, PSP, AVI, MPEG

(the free version will pop up a menu asking you to upgrade to the free version after every movie, and the pro version will let you specifically pick a file format dedicated to different media devices, but either MPEG4 (*.mp4) or WMV3 should work)

I downloaded this and got transformers on my phone but it has captioning while playing the movie how do you get rid of this I have it deselected on my phone and still there when playing the movie

Just use Handbrake... much easier...
