It will allow Blurts to notify you that a new message has arrived, but you will still have to go to your BlackBerry to read and respond to it.
As RIM allows more, we will put the support into Blurts. | Now that RIM has published the Blackberry Messenger API, is this being worked on (even if it is just for notifications). The problem I constantly run into is I use blurts to get an on-screen notification of what's going on with my Blackberry because I have to keep it on Vibrate Only at work. The phone calls/text message/email alerts that Blurts Pro offers is a life-saver, but sometimes I check on my device and find I have 10 BBM conversations waiting to be read. Even a notification would be such a huge huge help. Hopefully as the API expands you can put what the actual message is on the screen.
This post is mainly just asking ... can I get my hopes up for this integration on the next release/update?
