We should have a separate sections for scammers and for feedback just to make it easier to search for scammers

yeah, well he played the wife, and scammed before cards, so some people wont think twice, but some of the things were just hinky, so as i got into more detail and he still didnt want to send prior i started looking.

But if he's going to be allowed to continue to be a member here at CB, it might be good to at the very least move this thread to the top of the regular Marketplace forum so more people see it. And you hit on a good point; it really is the job of the seller to verify (as much as he can) the validity of a potential buyer.

On a few forums, it is standard that the person with the best/most feedback is sent the phone or paid first depending on the deal. But on here is seems its seller gets paid, which is fine. Thats the policy here. Everywhere is different, but the way I feel is if you have over 3-4 positive feedbacks on a forum AND are active, its probably safer to say itll be ok. I am not saying its fool proof or nothing will happen, because I have seen it happen, but in my opinion its better than nothing at all and dealing with someone with no feedback and trusting them first off.

Unfortunately he got me. He was suppose to send me $450.00 paypal and didn't. The nice thing though I sent my item through USPS and have a tracking number that tracked it to the US and Canadian Border. Even though he is a scammer and they can be hard to prosecute I will be filing with my local court court for the money he owes me. This could have the potential to grow into a class action lawsuit and federal case for a few reasons:
1)I mailed through USPS so by him not paying makes it a federal offense.
2)If we band together we can make it a class action lawsuit and the more information we can all pull together the more likely we are to win.
3)I saved all e-mails and PM's from him
I know its only 450.00 dollars but it's the principle of the thing. Everything seemed really good till he tried to get my new moto droid 2 that replaced my bold i sent him then he all together got stopped e-mailing me.
I say there needs to be a harsher scammer rule for this site. If you are caught even just one time you should be band from the site.

Dammit mods, will you ban reznor9 and his damn Internet IP please?!
I'm tired of having my name used for these scams!!! Quick way to know if it's a scam... If I'm selling anything here it's a scam. I only do business on craigs list locally. I live no where near the Canadian border... I actually live on the Mexican border.(total opposite) And last I only have interests in iPhones and apple products. Also my area code is 915... So if the scammer ever gives you a different contact number it's fake!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY ALREADY!!!
One more thing! When in doubt, contact me on twitter. @reznor9
But i guarantee that any deal from reznor9 from this site or any blackberry site will 100% be a scam.
