Feedback: I paid for the iPhone and was told it would ship 11/25...he then replied he would ship 11/28. I have not received any communication from him since 11/27 and you can see he has been online since then. He had positive feedback, so I thought I could trust him...this was not the case.

It appears as though I did...even though I was positive I did not...because I added the extra for fees...I don't know if something got changed around and I missed it or what.

I paid via the PayPal app on my iPhone and was sure I said "For Goods and Services"...maybe I fat fingered it.

unless the mods can step in, i would start by calling paypal and start the complaint procedure. according to an old for sale post, he lives in Longmeadow, Ma.

Op you should have been more careful. Looking at his For Sale thread I could have told you this guy is shady especially when someone says "I WILL take LESS if someone wants to buy and can paypal tonight" and that too for a fully functional Iphone 4

Regardless... I hope you get the situation sorted out and your money back.

Call up your Credit card Company and see if they can help.

Yeah I get that, looking back now I should have been more cautious. However he does have recorded feedback here and didn't join overnight. I'm sure everyone's been desperate at one point or another and let something go for cheap.

My bank will not help since the transaction was authorized, but I am still actively pursuing him through another source.

I attempted to email him again and send him a PM here...I'd be willing to compromise with him and accept a partial refund, if he would just man up and email me back.

I'm also in contact with some different state agencies regarding the matter.

Are you talking to a Fraud, Internet Crimes, or State agency? Hopefully something good comes of it.

Started with a general Internet Crimes, its been forwarded to my states AG office, waiting to hear back from them.

Ill talk to my supervisor tomorrow, see if there are any other steps you can take, I dont know the laws in Mass. He knows more general knowledge than I do. Im more state (my state) specific. I think youve taken the proper route though, atleast you would have in my state. But we would have also sent it to a local crime/detective unit. Not sure if they do that there.
