Just another question: all I would need to do is put my AT&T SIM card in, and I will be able to browse the 'net and send/receive MMS? The reason I ask is because I had an unlocked Android a while back that I had to manually go in and change the settings.

Aside from updating your new PIN# & IMEI# on your BIS account with At&T and then resending the the Service Books, then all you have left to do is manually input the AT&T APN settings (quick and easy, less than a minute) I can provide them to you or they can be easily found online. After that you should be good to go, hope that helps.
