The 8310 has a brand new trackball installed that I purchased from cnn.cn. It was $13 shipped. It has one small nick on top next to LED light(under the BSE skin) and one small scratch on the back door. Both are shown in the pics. No scratches on the screen but a couple of minor ones on the BSE screen protector. It has At&t approved OS 4.5.0.110 installed on it.
