Here's a tip. Go to options > advanced options > Simcard. Pull up the keyboard and type MEPD. A hidden menu will appear. Look at the network, if it says "active" the phone is still locked.

Thanks for the info, but when i goto SIM CARD and pull up the KEYBOARD and type, nohing happens!! no letters appear, it just clicks as if i'm typing but nothing is being typed!

i dont think theres a fee to unlock if he or she calls their carrier to unlock it rather than thru a third party. i might be wrong tho, ask around.

it is a good looking phone but a lot of sellers on here selling unlocked storms for 250 or so. Not saying you should drop your price just saying the market is a tough crowd :P!
