They are cheap on Amazon.com and eBay.com. I bought one at Amazon and it was definately an OEM battery, but I know you have to be careful, however for the price...
I actually have a DX-1 battery and external charger that I had bought to use with my BB 9650 a ways back and never used due to the fact that I jumped over to Android. Still sitting in the plastic.
