Upgrading to 5.0 on a Mac (8330)

Can someone clue me in as to how you do this? I found some sort of guide on here last night that ended up bricking my phone. I finally got it fixed, but it had me really nervous. I followed everything perfectly, so I don't know why I got the 507, but I did. If anyone has done this through a mac please help me out here! Thanks!

If you check the last page, the OP says you may not be able to do a 5.0 upgrade with the Mac DM yet.

Yea, i would HIGHLY recommend NOT trying to update to 5.0 on a Mac. I have yet to get it to work

Doesn't the thing work when you replace the OS files in the Library with the leaked files?
