Unplug you Internet connection and reboot. Then try again. Once done hook your Internet connection back up.

Why don't you remove the applications on the device? I don't have the Torch yet but on my old curve you go to Options > Advanced > Applications

Desktop manager for mac has lots of bugs..

Can you get to a real Windows PC? This will certainly work a lot better.

Not to sound condescending, But maybe you should have bought an iphone. Everything in the apple bubble works great together. There is well known issues with DM and a mac, always best to do things with DM via pc.

Why are you using DM to remove apps? Why not avoid the whole hassle and just delete them on the device itself.

Just touch and hold the app you want to delete. A menu will pop up and tap the delete option. DM not needed.
