Unable to sync using MAC DM

I tried loading the new OS using desktop manager. That process failed and deleted all my calendar info. Not a huge deal I guess except for the fact that I cannot sync my BB with my MAC anymore. The "sync" icon on the desktop manager page is just greyed out......need some help!!!

I am having the same issue with my bold, but it asks me to update DM, when I try, it tells me that I can't install the BB update and crashes.... Highly annoying!

Same problem with new (1 week old) 9650. Updated DM, was able to back up date from phone to iMac, but Sync button is greyed out. Bummer.
