Sync problem

A friend of mine just got a new BB Torch 9800 and is trying to sync it with his Mac. Things are working great, with one issue - some contacts are not getting synced onto his phone. His calendar goes perfectly, but some contacts don't appear.

He's tried doing a "Full Replace" and syncing from iCloud - same results.

Any ideas?

Never mind - he figured out the issue. It had to do with iCloud - the contacts in question were created after he changed his Address Book to store contacts there instead of on the local machine. Changed that back, synced the contents of the cloud to his local machine, then synced to his BB - things worked.
