software upgrade
i know how to upgrade via windows is it the same way delete vendor.xml or soemthing how do you do it on here

You cannot install any OS that is not your carrier's official OS using OS X. If you want to install another carrier's OS, a leaked OS, or a hybrid, you need to run Windows on your Mac in a virtual environment, run Windows on a partition using Bootcamp, or use a PC.

another stupid question but wy doesnt mac offer upggrading or downgrading os on macs?
