Safari on Mac not working when tethered to Bold 9700
Hi, can anyone help here.
I have a MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.7 and Blackberry Desktop Manager v 126.96.36.1990.
I have a Bold 9700 on Orange tethered via USB and have' Tethering and Internet' as part of my Orange contract.
When I go to System Preferences/Connect, a connection is made, the Status shows as connected and the time counter ticks away.
When I launch Safari I get a message saying 'You are not connected to the Internet'.
Same happens with iTunes etc.
Apple tech support cannot resolve and say it points to BlackBerry software/Drivers, can anyone suggest what to do to connect?
Phone itself connects to Internet when not tethered and the Safari loads fine when using my WiFi.
