Default Remove BLACKBERRY DESKTOP from MACBOOK PRO

I want to fully uninstall BLACKBERRY DESKTOP from my MAC. I have done the standard method with the goal being to fresh install the program again with a clean slate. But when I reinstall it comes back with all the same parameters as it previously had. There must be something - a hidden file, whatever - that I have not properly deleted. One of the main things I want to achieve in doing this is to FORGET all the devices previously synced on the desktop manager. For example there is a PEARL and a TORCH there that I want to get rid of. I know you can FORGET a device BUT the option to FORGET is ghosted. I can't seem to do this no matter what I have tried. Suggestions ??
