How do I remove an application from the list of installed applications in the Mac Desktop Manager? I have several apps in the list that I no longer use and would like to get rid of.

there should be a check box to add remove apps on device.

Not the device; the list on the desktop application on the Mac.
Most apps like this have a + and a - under the list; this one has only a +.

I have found an "unofficial" way to do it, but I still don't know what the "right" way is.
