I have been able to sync my contacts back and forth just fine. I only receive syncing issues when I attempt to sync my calendar.

I also had to force quit the program the first time that I run it.

When it gets to theme setttings, it fails to back up. I did a partial back up without theme settings and it worked. I was using the default theme, anyone know whats up with that?

Try clearing out your browser caches. That usually works on the windows side. I was able to do an entire backup successfully. This is an improvement that still needs work.

did that. didn't work. it does need improvement but it is still in beta. I do like the interface and how you can sync both ways between mac and bb. but I would also like the option to sync one way from bb to mac.

I agree, the one item I saw lacking was syncing from BB to mac. I wanted to overwrite some of my old contacts on my mac but of course you're not allowed to do that. The final rElease is supposed to be this month so hopefully it will be sometime soon.

To OP I had no problems syncing my calender and I have a good amount of dates saved. As for everything else pretty simple although I do hope the OFFICIAL Release will allow us to load different OS'

Hey, when you synced your calendar, was it the only option synced at the time or did you have calendar and contacts syncing?

I may try syncing the calendar by itself and see what happens. As for OS installations, we are hoping it will be implemented in the final release of the software.

Default has anyone gotten a straight up sync error message?

As soon as I hit the sync button I get an error message stating that a sync error has occurred.

    Any thoughts?

I was able to do a complete backup after I told it to "Clean Data" and I selected the Themes Settings. I can't sync anything due to it says it's "The sync server failed to let client BB DM pull changes." Anyone have any thoughts? Is there a permission setting I need to enable? I'm running SL now.

I've deleted the application from my 10.5.8 Mac. After successful installation, it could/would not locate my calendars on either Entourage or iCal. It further gave me the "sync server failed to let client BB DM pull changes" error.

If someone posts solutions, I am happy to try again but, at this time, I do not recommend this application. It does not work.

Default iCal not receiving all entries

Has anyone had issues and resolved them with syncing multiple calenders? I have 3 and non of them show up... only the facebook ones and it is under the wrong category in iCal.

All of the calenders have the same name on the bb and in iCal. I know its a beta, but i was curious if anyone else had an issue...

    Everything else worked great!!!!

    Default Trouble syncing music

I'm having trouble syncing my iTunes to the SD card. It wouldn't sync over what was already on the SD card, so I cleared the SD card. I hooked it back up and the program still says the card is full, even though I've verified on the phone itself that I erased all the music. I tried to sync to see if it would go, and it just hung.

Following that I tried to add an application via DM, and it caused an random reboot on the phone.

Hopefully RIM has a better build of this program set to release, because this one is really buggy.

I was able to sync my data without any problems. But only 2-way sync is available. I could check the erase data on device. (Or maybe it was erase data on Mac. Don't remember now.) But as far as the media goes, it only had a selection for music. Nothing for pictures. Didn't try music since I was on my way out the door. Will try that later.
As far as updating software goes, I'm guessing it's under the Applications tab. You can check for updates there. I'm guessing that's where you would also update software if you have an updated version to install? That's just my guess.
Also backed up the BB. And it didn't have any issues backing that up either. Haven't tried to restore it yet though.

Well, fracking restore won't even work for me. It starts and goes a little ways then comes to a crashing halt. Further, it seemed to RESET all of my phone preferences in the process, not restoring them. Looks like I am going to have to reinstall Missing Sync and spend half the night resetting my BB. What joy! haha!
