pearl 9100 tethering with mac osx 10.6.6

Im from ecuador. im trying with no success to tether my pearl 3g with my mbp snow leopard 10.6.6. i already got it to connect but it disconnects every 5 secs with a message that syas disconnected by ppp server. i dont know if there is any modem script or way to fix this cause i really need to get his going. appreciate your help
