Default How do I "backup" my files?

So I know my way around a blackberry pretty well, however, I've never had to backup my files. I have a blackberry Curve 8320 unlocked through T-Mobile, I'm using a iBook G4 running OS 10.3.9.

Also, has anyone ever had any issues with their flash on the camera just blinking a couple times, but not fully flashing? In addition, my pictures aren't saving to my memory card, or device memory either. I have 6GB of free space, too. I've done a few battery pulls and uninstalled an application called "Peek-A-Boo" that silences the shutter tone, and I still have this problem.

Any useful information is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
