How to de-install/re-install OS 5 w/ a Mac

I have spent all day trying to fix the problems associated w/ downloading OS 5 for my storm. My Facebook app is gone, have uninstalled and reinstalled about 30 times, done a ton of battery pulls, nothing helps. E-mail set-up wizard is gone too. I just wiped all my applications. How can I de-install/re-install the software update? I am using the Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac.

I am seriously about to throw my phone out the window.

Same problems here. I reloaded last version....and everything works. In Blackberry Desktop open Applications then Show Other Versions. Reload 4.7.0.148. Uninstall all the apps that were not working in os 5. Then update back to 5 and reinstall apps. Hope this helps.
