Default east asian language pack

Hi,

I am a new user of BB, also using mac (imac OS10.6.6). I downloaded desktop manager for mac 2.0 on my mac desktop. all sync are fine. The problem I have now is my BB isn't showing Chinese character. I know that this is included in the east asian language pack. I chose this once in the Desktop Manager, application manual and successfully downlaod to my bb. However when I sync BB with Desktop Manager the next day, it seems the Desktop Manager overwrites something so the Chinese characters are showing properly (in dots).

For PC there is this east asian language pack (.exe file) to be downloaded from BB website. But for mac, no .dmg file is available.

Does any one encounter this? Or know a link to download the .dmg file for east asian language pack.

Steph

Bump!

I'm using an unlocked AT&T phone in Taiwan using Taiwan Mobile carrier and need help seeing and inputing traditional Chinese Characters. Is the only way to do it by updating the firmware on PC?

Thanks!
