Can I tether a Sprint 9650 with Mac OS 10.4.11

I'm searching for answers and not finding one that's worked so far. I just
need to know if/how I can tether a Bold 9650 to a Mac running Tiger OS
(10.4.11).

Otherwise, do i have to upgrade my OS to Mac 10.5/Leopard?

If anyone has a definitive one on this, Would hugely appreciate your help...

Hi. You mean Yes i have to go to OSX 10.5 or...that I can Tether with
OSX 10.4.11 If it's doable with 10.4, any particular app you'd recommend
as the simplest/easiest to deal with ? Hoping to be able to usbtether vs
Bluetooth.
