Even on OSX 10.6.x + the BB-DM software leaves a LOT to be desired. Bricked my Tour with it when VZW released their last OS update. had to fix with a PC.

This is easily done, just plug the device into the mac (usb). You should see the drive (SD card) show up on the desktop. Just drag and drop your mp3s from your mac onto the card...and voila they are there....Use your media app to play them.

I have not bothered as my iPod is a much nicer player and can easily sync with iTunes and hold far more music.

Just got a Blackberry curve today. Realized I have system 10 .4.11. How do I upgrade that system to the 10 .5.5 needed?

buy/download Leopard or Snow Leopard (10.5 or 10.6) to update or partition/use a windows computer for DM.

Default Bb dm

My computor (G4 powerbook) is topped out at 10.4.11. Won't do 10.5 no way (not enough memory or processor.)
But, PocketMac works better anyway.

Turn on mass storage mode, and drag and drop to the media card.
