Adding and Deleting Applications with Desktop Software

Hi I am kind of new to the forum. I just bought a BB 9700 and I installed the Desktop software today. When I try to add apps using the aplications option in the software a message saying "Validation failed because the module marked for add (net_rim_bb_calendar_dynamic_icon) failed the checksum"

What does this mean and can I fix it somehow...?

I'm receiving similar errors trying to install apps via DM on my iMac. Anybody wanna chime in with some advice? I can't add or delete apps without receiving a message like this one.
