I hope it will fix the memory drop I experienced with .592.

Downloading now but will wait a couple of days for feedback. Currently using Willyboy 3.1 Hybrid but still have memory leak (although not as bad as before I deleted PocketInformant) Will wait for feedback on the leak issues - if any.

Using Shrink-A-OS I had the OS down to ~39MB prior to loading. This is the smallest OS size that I can recall of the 5.0 builds. Provided the memory leak issue has been improved upon this is quite promising!

So if the platform didn't change, it can't be very different, can it? Are these types of OS' any different than loading up like .554 and adding the newest Java files?

Does platform = radio file or?

@dienamik - how does that memory compare to either .554 or .592 when you loaded them up? Just trying to get a decent baseline on what to expect. I think I loaded .554 up with around 46-48MB after shrinking. .592 seemed to be about 4-5MB less than .554, so... I went back to .554 just for the memory.

Once someone gets it loaded can you confirm whether or not it has the crappy new lock?

I'm on .411 right now, but I'm rebooting daily and getting down to 0.0mb from memory leaks. I want to upgrade, but I use the keyboard lock ALL THE TIME. On top of that I have podtrapper set to use the mute button, so the new lock thing would throw me off . Any ideas?

Get used to it, all OS's are using the mute key now as the lock! So either keep your current OS and deal with mem leaks or drop down to 4.6!
