Is wifi hotspot contingent on the carrier or is it available as long as you have a 9900?

They should be releasing the same leaked OS for most of the other OS 7 devices.

You may even see .115 at some point today.

I can confirm that the mobile hotspot works on my device (Had to call Bell though), some reports of random rebooting as well. Some may want to wait for .115

    Default Tethering charges?

I realize most of you had not had time to test this out, but does anyone who's carrier charges for tethering know if it works on the leaked os without paying?

If ya figure it out thank you. If I do I will post

How about that Official T-Mobile Update rumored for November . . .Not many days left in November . . .My 9900 is laggy and choppy at times and I hope all this waiting means one real solid OS update . . .(given past experience I shouldn't keep my hopes too high . . .)

You should try the OS7.0.0.540 that was leaked a few weeks ago. It works great on my 9900 and the battery life is close to what it had on my 9700. That's if you're not going to try 7.1 out.

I will wait to hear how others go. I like the .540 version with no issues. Plus I hate having to reload my apps with all the codes again..lol
