Just loaded and not much different on the surface. File size is smaller ~10mb. Phone does seem to be a bit snappier. I'll have to wait and see how the battery life is.

a "Certificate Search" icon appeared after the install.

does a better job of staying connected to my home wifi signal (did have a .822 hybrid installed before this leak).

OS feels faster. zippier. it's really noticeably faster (once again had a hybrid before installation of .1022).

that's all for now (after having .1022 installed for 9 hours).

I'm starting to see a pattern at this place, it's starting to look like a grade school playground at recess. The Apple/Droid users are the baby bullies that say "my dad can beat up your dad". The BB users are the ones that reply "maybe so, but at least my dad is there for me when I need him".

Ok, so so far, I have had this running a little under 24hrs, the build is very stable, battery life seems excellent, the memory leak from .822 seems plugged, and there is one new addition for us. IF your working in one app or doing something on your phone, a very cool animated banner pulls down to notify you of IM messages, and if it's a email it will pull down to about 1/3rd the screen with a snippet of the email. I found this pretty handy when on BBM if I wanted to leave the convo I'm in to check the email or not. All my apps work perfectly, and I haven't had my phone hang at all yet. So all in all I am very happy with this build. Also the Wifi and UMA seems stronger. Oh and the web browser seems faster.

Running all day and battery life is better than any leaked os on the 8900. I've also noticed, as others have, the memory leak is fixed. 5.0.0.1022 is a definite keeper.

Installed it this morning, so far battery life seems good but it's been plugged into the computer for a while so it's honestly hard to say. Was able to install through DM instead of BBSAK which was a godsend, since I didn't have to reinstall apps and just got to reactivate it.

I notice not a huge change in memory since .900 had already resolved .822's memory leak for me.
I DID notice the T-mobile My Account app pop up, but I've yet to figure out if it's not working for me because I don't have BIS or because T-mobile's been glitchy all day (My T-Mobile website also wasn't working earlier.)

It does seem smoother, faster, and all together snazzier. So I'm happy.

Restoring 3rd party apps now, that's got to be the quickest "non-wipe" install I have ever done. 2 cheers so far!

hiya bud, just out of curiosity which WB hybrid release were you running? v8.1?
because ive usualy let system dash do its job, ive never really noticed any major leaks, but i recently looked through the log files and noticed im loosing min of around 10mb+ every 15/20 mins or so, while its doing absolutely nothing at all.

maybe ill try the .1022 as a base, or shrink it and use it as standard until the proper hybrid is released? lol

ill have a play around and see what i can find
