Sorry, should've said it more clearly. I meant that they were checked. I tried deleting BB Boss completely, leaving no traces, and then reinstalling. Same results.

I had the first version and was very excited to try this new version. I selected everything like normal but now I don't know where to shrink the OS. Any help?

I hit Modify OS but nothing removed?

Nevermind. I closed the program, opened it up again and it worked now. 42.1MB left. Thanks for the great program!

If you are installing the same version that you already have on the phone, then you need to make sure that those options are also unchecked in AppLoader. Even if you shrink something out of the Java Folder, it can still be reinstalled on the phone if it's already there.

When AppLoader first accesses your phone, it takes a survey of the Apps that are already on it, if there are things that aren't available in the Java folder, it saves a copy of them and gives you the option to reinstall it after the reflash. This is where wiping your phone beforehand comes in handy.

You can try using the Direct Shrink option, that should get it off the phone for you.

Just hide them as they are only icons taking up no space.

I got the code from him.
I uninstalled/reinstalled and now it's working. He never answered my email, however.

These errors can happen with Voice Dialing removed. some people have had problems with convenience keys and so-forth, that's why it's in the Advanced section. They can cause errors like this, but should not affect overall operation of the device as long as you don't mind the error message.

I don't remove VAD since I use it. The reason it's in there is because it was a request from so many users to have the option.

I'd like to thank everyone for making this version a success. 2.2 has been available for just 17 days and has over 3000 downloads.

    Thanks!

did you install the OS onto the computer first?

i wound uninstall everything then remove this folder

    "C:\program files\common files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700AllLang_v6.0.0.499_P6.6.0.189"

then reinstall the build... i've had the same issue for the past 2 hours trying to fix my chinese font

looks like i have found the solution to my problem regarding chinese font...

for those who needs to read chinese, do NOT check off "monotype," if selected, this will remove the COD file "net_rim_font_monotype_hkscs" which is needed for the chinese text.

I just confirmed it by loading that specific file on BBSAK
