Anyone using Irtehun's 50v7.12 Hybrid?
I tried searching for this in the OS Beta/Hybrid forum, but couldn't find any info.
Is anyone using Irtehun's 50v7.12 Hybrid? Is it good?
I was using Irtehun's 50v7.11, but it was terrible with battery life. Battery only lasted 8 hours. So, I switched back to leaked .230.
Is v7.12 any good?

I'm also on the fence with upgrading too. I just installed the 7.11 today and am noticing the same if not worse battery life I had with the normal .230 leak. I read in another thread that giving it a couple days would stabilize the battery. Can anyone else confirm that? Please let us know if the 7.12 upgrade is worth it. Thanks!

I installed 7.12 Sunday night.
I've not noticed any issues. In fact what little lag I experienced in 7.11 is gone, and the boot time is even faster.
No problems here with ringtones, SMS or battery life. Then again, I didn't have battery issues with 7.11, either.

I did the upgrade to 7.12 yesterday morning.
It's running great so far. I haven't seen the pesky "Loading" hourglass thingie thus far!
And the best thing was that I didn't have to reinstall not one app! Everything from my backup file came over the way it was supposed to.
The only negative I have noticed is that my recording volume on videos is a lot lower than it used to be.

For everybody complaining about battery life. After the install, give it a day or so to normalize. I promise you that if you follow the correct procedure (ie battery pulls, etc) you will notice improved battery life after the initial post-install period. Mark it down.

I've started to notice some lag with 7.11 that I didn't experience before. It's been within the last two days or so. I've cleaned out everything I can find or think of in terms of "crap" and haven't noticed any improvements.
Only thing I personally changed was installing Bolt 1.6 which I've since uninstalled. Not sure what effect that would have on the overall system.
Did a 3x battery pull and am monitoring the performance now. It was running problem free for me until recently. I'm not sure if 7.12 has anything to offer me that 7.11 didn't.

Willyboy06, hey dude its me again....well i just wanna let ya know i gave that 7.11 a chance but dude the battery life never got better and it was laggy as all out doors, i downgraded back to the regular .230 and with out any battery pulls or extra stuff its running smooth like it use to and the battery actually jumped back up 2 bars, sounds weird but im not lying it actually went back up so there has to be sumthing just suckin up juice in 7.11 that noone can see.

If you're bored you could try swapping out the platforms and running a .191 radio with some of the 7.xx hybrids. That's what I'm doing now and I'm loving it. Big improvement.

I'm running v12 and admit it's a lot better for my use than v11 was. The Bluetooth standby issue has been resolved, which was quite bothersome for me since I disable the Bluetooth every time I get out of the truck and have already made it a habit to put my phone in standby when not in use.
I also love the 2min30 boot time from battery insertion to trackball recognition. Sure beats the 6min I had to suffer from the stock Tour OS.
For me, battery life has been stable. Haven't noticed much of a difference between 11 and 12, but we'll see as the OS continues to be broken in.
Haven't had the issue with the ringtones yet, and I'll check the camera auto-focus on my Tour.
