| | Why has OS6 480 for the 9700 never had a mention here
Suddenly found that 534 is very hungry with my 9700's battery. So tonight I have downgraded to 480 to check it out. Never really seen any mention of this OS on these forums. I wonder why? Could it be that 534 was released just after it.
Dose anyone have any experience with 480? I have only been running it for an hour thus far and the only downside at the moment is that the featured items in App World dose not work, even after downloading it again.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Alan.

.480 never leaked for the 9700, it just went straight to official with H3G Italy.
If it's anything like .480 for the 9780, which was the first bug-free build, then you should be ok

By the way, thanks for responding to my post re "column view" and yes it did work on 534. Just me being a prat.

Does .480 have the alarm bug issue in the top banner drop down? It was there on .499 & .534.

I've never had a problem with the battery on any of the other OS leaks. 534 was terrible only got half a day out of it whereas with any of the others I was getting 2 - 3 days. It was such a shame cause in every other aspect 534 was exceptional.

Is there a fix? Not too bothered though as I never use that option.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | I toggle the display font size up and down by one. That does it as well, but only until next reboot

Still having problems with "featured items" in App World after the 480 install. It shows no apps and you cannot scroll left or right. The items on the bottom banner, well stack me high, just went to check on the phone to see what their called and it's started to work OK now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gremlins I guess.
That's taken 24 hours from OS load before it kicked in.
