Default Unable to Install ANYTHING but official!?

OK, first things first. I am no stranger to installing Leaked OS or messing with my BB. But heres the issue. My friend and I switched bb's for a week so I could test something out on his torch. Once I got the device back I wanted to wipe, install a fresh OS, restore settings, email, etc.

heres the issue, When I run bbsak to force install .600 for the 9700 the ONLY option it gives me is to uninstall Appworld...

I tried pulling the battery and connecting through loader.exe directly and nothing, I ensured the vendor.xml file is not present and it states there is no OS supported for this device blablabla....I remember getting this way back and I Seem to remember I had to place a Rogers Vendor.xml file in the loader directory to get it working....it didnt work this time.

I tried removing Appworld through loader without preforming a backup/restore in loader and wipeing all app data...nothing..

I dont really know what else to try. Shy of a factory reset and I dont wana do that cuz if it wont detect an OS from pulling the battery and connecting when the red light is on well...then I will be left with a paper wieght for a while longer.....Insights or suggestions anyone?

This happened to me a few weeks ago when I tried to update one of my spare phones. I popped my SIM card in, turned on the network and then apploader finally finds the OS. I'm not sure why but it worked for me.
