Default Threaded SMS

I just upgraded my 8900 to OS 5.0 and I love the threaded SMS, but I when I hit the "enter" key to add a signature of sorts, the message sent automatically and I had to send another one right after so the recipient knew who I was. Is this happening to anyone else and has anyone figured a way to hit the "enter" key without the message sending?

Haven't used threaded because I have a Tour and don't want to mess with 5.0 yet, but on computers the usual work around is holding shift and pressing enter. Have you tried holding the alt key and pressing enter?

I wanted to send a text, then hit enter twice so that I could give it a "signature," but when I hit enter it sent the message automatically, instead of going to a new line.

Wow....thanks for that idea. The alt key didn't work, but the shift key did.

A signature like this?

Just wanted to test this out.

Take care,
