Where are you prompted to buy the tethering plan? On your phone or on the device connected to your mobile hotspot?

The prompt is actually a redirect after you connect a device (e.g. a laptop) to the phone's hotspot and try and go to any web site.

Try:

epc.blackberry.net

username: blank

password: blank

If that doesnt work try checking the authentication enabled option and create a random username and password. Here is a screenshot of mine.

I have another problem. I have the tethering/hotspot account for T-Mobile, however, after about 30 seconds to a minute, whatever device I have connected loses Internet Access. In fact, my laptop will say "LIMITED ACCESS", then it will lose connection totally and not be able to connect. My Android tablet will have a simular issue, even when it is the SOLE item connected. Again, same with the laptop.

For those of you on t-mobile - they now are requiring a $14.99 mobile hotspot/tethering package. However, if you have (or want to have) a 5gig or 10gig data plan, you can call them and upgrade (at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE) for a bundled data and tethering plan. So their $30/month 5gig plan will also include tethering - but this is allegedly a limited time offer, so call now!

How do you get to that screen? I've searched everywhere in the options for it.

Go to search device and look for TCP IP. That's where you can change the APN settings and put it what was suggested above.
