Did Shrink-A-OS open automatically after the install?
If so, just use the launcher in there.

*22899 activates and grabs the prl at the same time, it's just there for simplicity's sake.
    Droid does it for me.

Yes. I tried the launcher from there but no go. The new hybrid will not load.

Personally, I would probably uninstall both OS', reinstall .320, then reinstall the hybrid.
At the same time though I really wouldn't say it's worth it. I've had the hybrid running since it came out and I've yet to notice anything different.

I installed the hybrid with no problems. This phone is much more responsive and just seems overall improved from the already awesome official OS.

Just installed version 3 and it seems fine. One big improvement I noticed was that when using a theme and you switch to landscape mode, the white bars are gone and it looks like it should. This was worth the install right there.

i thought that at first too. have you done a battery pull since you loaded the OS? mine bars came back after the first battery pull.

Don't really notice a significant difference. Still feels fast though.

How am I supposed to know that I'm actually running the hybridized OS ?

I would love a response to this. I will definitely install it if it fixes the theme issues. I miss my custom theme.

No, this hybrid is not recommended for the 9520. You may brick your phone.

You go options/applications/blackberry button/modules. When the list of modules comes up you should see the hybrid files in there. If all you see is .320 files then you did not successfully update your S2.

If you installed the Hybrid Installer than it is already loaded over your OS Now you just need to run AppLoader (dont use DM) and load to device, or run SAOS (as admin), shrink, then load via the loader on SAOS.

Also make sure the correct OS is in the OS window at the top.

Ok. I really need help getting this installed. I downloaded build 4 of the hybrid. I ran the EXE file and it installed the software to my PC. Then, Shrink OS opened up automatically. I tried running the Loader there and it ran. However, it comes up with a list of programs such as my launcher icons, documents to go, email, etc BUT no operating system files appear. When I click Next, nothing.

I'm not a novice at this but I am obviously missing something.

The point is it's much faster, smoother, better memory, better battery. Just over all faster i'm told.
